This intriguing machine was discovered in 1975 as a backbone, forks and front handlebars in the yard of a Peterborough scrap-dealer by renowned bicycle collector; John Malseed, the rest of the parts had disappeared - so John set about using the remaining parts as pattern's to complete it. A lovely photo shows John with the spine and backbone after he first found it.

Both wheels steer meaning that both riders would seriously need to communicate with each other. Probably made by a local maker at the time who had the idea and needed to see if it worked. Really only for display purposes, but would make a fabulous addition to any bicycle collection.
