Vintage Nickel Plate Bicycle Trouser Clips.

A pair of traditional bicycle clips in nickel plated spring steel. An old fashioned and rather effective way of keeping ones trousers from, A; getting caught in a bicycle chain and, B; turning ones trouser bottoms into an oily rag. The design has been around for at least the last 100 years and was traditionally an essential accessory for any cycling commuter. These are new old stock and although are still in ok condition, some pairs do show signs of tarnishing; but this will generally polish out. Apologies for the photo on my leg and jeans showing the application and how to fit and use them; but the budget didn't stretch to a fancy model to show them off.
