A lovely period photograph of a group of French racing cyclists posing with their bikes. The bicycles look to date from c.1895 to 1900 period. Mounted on the original card from the photographer which is branded. The photo shows a finger road sign, but I’ve been unable to make out the location. It would be fun to track down the original location! The card is 24cm x 18cm. Sadly the card has been folded sometime in its life, but the photo has minimal damage from that. Water staining on the right side of the card, but that hasn’t affected the photo much. See the images for the overall condition.
